# Phase I: Stake

**Incentivized Liquidity Staking**

{% hint style="info" %}
**WHY STAKE IN PHASE I**

* **Earn more \[BARS]** the earlier and more that you stake
* **Get first access to brktETH** claim and future rewards
 * Receive brktETH in Phase II, subject to the terms and conditions then in effect
* **Best chance at highest yield tiers** in Phase II
 {% endhint %}

Stake supported LSTs/LRTs into escrow to be eligible to receive brktETH in Phase II. The first phase of your journey is to build the treasury in anticipation of launching brktETH in Phase II.

Stakers may earn \[BARS] rewards points. Please see the [Bracket \[BARS\] section](/product/bracket-bars.md) for more info.

In addition, stakers will continue earning the native rewards and points generated from the LST/LRTs staked.

You may withdraw at any time, subject to the terms set forth in the [redemptions section here](/product/brkteth/redemption-and-withdrawals.md). You will keep any Bracket Rewards accrued and will get the value of the collateral staked in Phase 1. If a withdrawal is partial, your will continue to accrue points on the remaining assets.

### **Staking ETH Requires Swapping**

If a user wishes to stake ETH or wETH, they will be required to swap into one of the supported LST/LRTs, before having that asset deposited into escrow. Bracket will use *Uniswap* as our DEX for this purpose.

### Why Stake with Bracket?

* **Stake large and stake early to get more \[BARS]**
* **Early stakers get first access to brktETH and highest tier strategy yield**
 * Receive brktETH in Phase II, subject to the terms and conditions then in effect
* **Stack LST/LRT rewards**
* **Incentivized liquidity for brktETH, which will be used on the platform to participate in strategies**

### **Staking Flow**

1. **Go to** [**bracket.fi**](https://www.bracket.fi)
2. **Select the Asset you would like to deposit.**
3. **Enter the amount you wish to stake**
4. **If you entered ETH or wETH, you will be prompted to SWAP into one of the supported LST/LRT assets. The swap process will sequence you through the swap and stake process.**
5. **Push stake and confirm transaction**
6. **Stake Success!**

## Claiming your brktETH

After the Phase I escrow period is completed, you will be able to claim your $brktETH. All claims will occur on the Etereum network, even if you staked on Arbitrum. Please see [Phase II: Get and use brktETH](/product/phase-ii-get-and-use-brkteth.md) for escrow break process and supported assets in Phase II.
