# Selling a Passage

In some instances, selling your Passage position is possible. Let's explore how that works and when you can do it.
\
In the above example, you will see a breakout position that has been **FULLY FILLED.** In this circumstance, your Passage is now locked in and is actively accruing. Since breakouts start at 2x and tick down over time, you may find yourself in a position where you think your position won't breakout and you want to sell. \
\
Luckily, there is now an option to **SELL** your position to the Passage Vault. If this option is available, you will see a green SELL button and then you will be given an offer that is likely a discount to the current estimated fair value of the position. \
\
**Let's click sell and see what we are offered:**
In this offer, we are being offered a discount to fair value for the orderfill. This offer will vary depending on market conditions and the status of the vault. We can choose to **ACCEPT** or **REJECT** this offer within the allotted time provided.\
\
Accepting the offer will instantly expire the particular filled order, closing it. Remember that a single order can fill in part or in whole and smaller filled parts may be able to be sold independently.
